How do I get a fire alarm and sprinkler installation permit?

In accordance with the recently adopted Massachusetts Fire Safety Code, 527 CMR 1.00, all Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Installations need to be filed with Building Department.
HOWEVER, all systems that require a shut down need to be permitted by the Head of the Fire Department
